1.3. This information and the instructions relating to this competition on this website forms the Terms and Conditions. By completing an entry, the entrant accepts these Terms and Conditions.
1.4. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
1.5. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
1.6 The Promoter may also cancel or suspend this competition and its prize if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition or its prize. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
1.7. By submitting an entry, the entrant grants to the Promoter permission to publish the content of any images, audio and video captured by the Promoter during the winner’s visit to the National Portrait Gallery for promotional, publicity, educational and administrative purposes. Publication includes, but is not limited to, print, online, social media, and supply to journalists for media stories.
WHO CAN ENTER?2.1. To enter you must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2. You must be an Australian citizen or resident.
2.3. Directors and employees of the Promoter (together with their immediate families) are not eligible for entry.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1. Entries will only be accepted up until 11.59pm Monday 28 February 2022.
3.2. Entrants must submit their entry in accordance with the instructions provided online.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
4.1. All details provided by the entrant must be true and accurate.
4.2. Only one entry per entrant is permitted.
4.3. Entrants must include their full name, age (must be over 18), email address, phone number and postcode.
DRAW
5.1. The winner and 10 runners-up will be randomly drawn from all entries received by 11:59pm on Monday, 28 February 2022.
5.2 The winner be notified by Friday 4 March 2022.The runners-up will be notified by email by Friday 11 March 2022.
5.3. The winner and 10 runners-up will be notified via email. If a winner is not forthcoming within 48 hours of the email being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner or not award the prize. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are correct when entering the competition. The 10 runners- up will be drawn after the winner.
5.4. The winner may be announced to the public on during the period of the exhibition Shakespeare to Winehouse: Icons from the National Portrait Gallery London (12 March – 17 July 2022) by listing the name of the winner on the Promoter’s website and social media.
5.5 No responsibility by the Promoter is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
5.6. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
5.7. The prizes are not transferable, not refundable and not redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to redeem all unclaimed prizes and dispose of them at its absolute discretion.

6.1. The winner will obtain the following
a double pass to Shakespeare to Winehouse: Icons from the National Portrait Gallery (value $50)
A private tour of Shakespeare to Winehouse: Icons from the National Portrait Gallery, London (value $200)
two nights’ accommodation at MIDNIGHT Hotel in Braddon (approximate valued $500)
A five-course dinner for two at Braddon Merchant including paired wines (value $278)
lunch for two onsite at Portrait Café (value $150)
A bottle of Robert Oatley Finisterre Chardonnay (value $40 RRP)
1 x copy of the exhibition catalogue Icons and Identities (value $49.99 RRP); and
1 x annual Family membership to the National Portrait Gallery’s membership program, the Circle of Friends (value $70).
6.2. The winner agrees to notify the Promoter of their intention to claim the prize at least 2 weeks prior to their intended travel date. The Promoter reserves the right to change the date of accommodation, dinner and private tour.
6.3 The accommodation offer is subject to availability and the winner acknowledges that their preferred travel dates may not be available if sufficient notice is not provided.
6.4 The winner is responsible for all other costs, including travel to and from Canberra.
6.5 The 10 runners-up will receive:

6.6 Unless otherwise stated, all prizes are valid for redemption from 12 March 2022 –17 July 2022, being the period Shakespeare to Winehouse: Icons from the National Portrait Gallery, London is on display at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.

The Promoter is not responsible for any failure of equipment or technical error associated with the competition. Or for any incorrect information, commission, interruption or delay in operation.
